How does TrainTracker™ work?
TrainTracker uses speech recognition which lets you say what you want.
TrainTracker then looks up train times from our Live Departure and Arrivals Boards and our Online Journey Planner and speaks this information to you.Traintracker can also be accessed on station-specific numbers. So if you regularly travel to or from the same station, then click here to find out about our station specific TrainTracker Numbers.

Why should I use TrainTracker™?
TrainTracker is useful for callers who require train times either for today or the next 3 months when they are away from the internet.

Useful Hints for TrainTracker™ Customers
The service should work in most conditions. However, a number of things may help if you experience difficulties: Use your touch tone keypad , use the full station and county name when speaking, use the first few letters of the station name when using touchtone, call from a quiet place.
The service has live departure times for today and tomorrow and timetable times for the next 3 months.

How does TrainTracker™ adapt to me?
TrainTracker™ remembers your previous requests. When you use a mobile phone, TrainTracker™ will try to match your previous requests the next time that you call and may offer you a specific journey. This adaptation includes repeats of the most recently requested information or information which was relating to travel today, return trains for journeys you’ve asked about where the outbound travel was today or yesterday and regularly requested routes. This may be based on frequency of calling, time of day and other aspects of your call profile. Use of the service indicates acceptance of the storage of the information required for the adaptation features to work.
